Police Searching For Three Men After Armed Robbery In Fairfield County

Police in Fairfield County are searching for three men who allegedly robbed two victims at gunpoint, stealing cash and two iPhones.

The robbery took place around 3:12 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the Honeyspot Gulf gas station in Stratford.

The men stopped two victims who were walking and displayed a handgun, said Stratford PD Captain Frank A. Eannotti. The victims were robbed of $10 in cash and the two phones.

The suspects fled in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

The victims were not injured.

The vehicle, which was reported stolen, was recovered with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department on Wednesday, Feb. 3.

The investigation is ongoing.
